The hotel is very noisy. Sleep is difficult. you arrive at the hotel to see plastic marquee restaurant tents overshadowing it. finding check-in took about 15 minutes of stair climbing.

the room was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. the spacious bathroom had both a bath and a shower which was convenient. i found the gin bar provided a lovely place with an outside area with heaters ensuring comfort.

the music from the restaurant and bar was rather loud. it continued late into the night and started again early in the morning. this situation.

the staff were friendly and efficient at reception assisting quickly with check-in. i needed help with luggage due to the many stairs. a staff member offered help with my bags ensuring a smooth start to my stay.
